Our VISION
We're building a future where every child and family has the support, care, and resources to thrive beyond the challenges of adverse childhood experiences.  Building a Network of Hope for Those Affected by Adverse Childhood Experiences
Amanda Sheffield began her career in Texas, earning her Investigation License, before expanding her work to Florida. Over the past eight years, she has served as a Criminal Defense Investigator, including roles as Lead Investigator and Mitigation Specialist. With over 12 years of experience across both Texas and Florida, Amanda has built a strong foundation in her field.

Using tools like the A.C.E. (Adverse Childhood Experiences) Score calculator, Amanda creates tailored strategies to address each client's unique needs. Her work has shed light on the devastating effects of the School-to-Prison Pipeline, fueling her determination to break this cycle. Through her work with Advancing Past the ACES, Amanda focuses on addressing the root causes of trauma, empowering children to overcome challenges and build brighter futures.
Amanda is currently completing a Professional Certification in Data Analysis for Behavioral Sciences from the American Psychological Association to further enhance her ability to drive impactful change. Amanda has dedicated over 4,125 hours to this cause, and it’s the depth and impact of her work—not just the hours—that earned her the U.S. Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award and two Special U.S. Congressional Recognition Awards. These honors reflect the significance of her contributions to creating meaningful, lasting change.

"When I got involved, I learned my own path to healing was in helping others."
